Texas-West Africa Chamber of Commerce (TWACC) is a nonprofit business platform that was founded in November 2018 by two young entrepreneurs from Burkina Faso, Mr. Posso Ganame and Mr. Aboubakar Lougue.

The chamber aims to ease West Africans economic integration in the United States and to boost economic relationships between Texas and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), a trade bloc among West African countries that constitute its member-states.

The platform was established to advance the general welfare and prosperity of West Africans and Texans so that their citizens and diverse business communities can cooperate and thrive through trade and investment.

TWACC was officially launched on April 22nd, 2019, at the Houston City Hall before the Mayor of Houston; local & state elected officials; members of U.S. Congress and high dignitaries from West African Embassies in Washington D.C.
